My Story
Hi there! I'm Lauren, owner of Origins Bookkeeping. As a mother of wild and crazy twin boys, I have learned how to calm the chaos. I am creative, organized and meticulous and carry these traits with me in all aspects of my life and work.
I have over 13 years of bookkeeping experience and have worked with a number of different industries and clients. Like many others, my priorities shifted in 2020, and at the top of my list was family. I wanted a career with a flexible schedule so that I could spend more time with my kids and my family. Thus I started my company, Origins Bookkeeping. As the head of our small but mighty team, I can use my skills and passion for finance while also having the flexibility to spend time with my boys and work virtually anywhere. We love to be able to pick up and hit the road in our family "Wander Bus," a shuttle bus that I built into a camper.
I am a certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor and a member of the Digital Bookkeeper Association. I can help with all of the traditional bookkeeping tasks, but I like to think of myself as more than just a number cruncher. I'm a partner to my clients, helping them grow their business and identifying areas that need improvement.
I will dive into your books with careful attention to detail to make sure everything is accurate, up to date and that nothing falls through the cracks so you can focus on growing your business!
